GPS Potter’s Lane is a two-story residential building in Midway City, California. This innovatively designed housing development is based on modularized construction method and sits on a .41 acre infill parcel. GPS Potter’s Lane consists of 16 beautiful living spaces and was designed with the intention of accommodating growth point structures.

RBT Electric was subcontracted by Del Amo Construction, Inc. to provide electrical services required for the GPS Potter’s Lane Project. Our work included engineering an energy-efficient electrical system for each unit of this residential building.

To shorten the time required to complete this housing development project, the structures of the GPS Potter’s Lane residential building were manufactured offsite. RBT Electric was required to install lighting systems and power outlets in all sixteen 480-square-foot living spaces in less than the time required for a conventional site-built construction.

Apart from installing lighting systems and power outlets, RBT Electric also installed fire alarm system, low voltage phone, and cable television systems in all the 16 units of this residential building.

The completed units of the GPS Potter’s Lane residential building were delivered for assembly when the site was ready. RBT Electric participated in assembling the 16 units and connecting the 6,800 sq. ft. residential housing development to the electrical grid.

With a team of 15 electricians working in shifts, RBT Electric completed the electrical work of the GPS Potter’s Lane Project in time and in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
