OVERVIEW:

As a Project Coordinator you provide administrative and clerical support to the Project Manager and Field Foreman. You work in direct contact with the Project Manager, General Foreman, Project Foreman and office staff. You are required to visit jobsites on a weekly basis and or to attend coordination meetings. This position will be responsible for managing various steps in electrical project cycles, including; technical review, quotes, customer negotiations, scheduling, and maintenance. This will require strong residential construction focus, ability to coordinate high volume construction projects from remote locations, and ensure the Project Manager and field foreman informed on all details of various projects in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scan and File documents in all proper folders as designated.
  • Maintains vendor/supplier folders updated with all documents needed.
  • Creates RBT Field Binders
  • Processing Material purchase orders
  • Generates Cost estimates
  • Collects all required submittals for approval
  • Oversee subcontractor/major material purchase orders throughout the project’s duration.
  • Verify that all material, equipment, and tools are being ordered and arriving to proper job site on schedule and field paper work is maintained correctly.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules of material and equipment.
  • Assist in creating any new files for new projects and facilitate the copying of plans.
  • Recount and verify light fixture quantities by performing a take-off from the project plans.
  • Gather required documents for job meetings.
  • Follow up on any actions items from meeting agenda.
  • Keeps all meeting minutes
  • Responsible for project close out procedures. Facilitate the gathering, assembly, and completion of the O&M’s, warranty letters, and any other close out documentation required by owner/GC.
  • Lead supplier and sub-contractor negotiations for electrical project cost across the company.
  • Under tight deadlines, be able to manage a large volume of short duration electrical projects.
  • Manage the detailing, costing, price negotiation and scheduling of electrical projects associated with retrofit PV systems.
  • Strong emphasis on cost and profitability review.
  • Constant process development to make sure that Tesla is always finding ways to improve the customer experience and reduce costs.
  • Ability to use photos and construction plans to develop project scope of work and cost.
  • Ensure projects are moving through in a timely manner by fulfilling defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Be able to make daily and independent decisions on technical construction
  • Track all projects through the completion of construction while communicating clearly and effectively on project status.
  • Work closely with Supervisor, Local Operations teams, and approved sub-contractor vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.

OVERVIEW:

The primary duties of the Electrical Engineer (with traction power experience) include design production and technical leadership for rail system projects. Specific responsibilities include; design packages as well as coordinating the assembly of plans and specifications. Individual must be technically competent, with recognized rail specialization that resolves problems of significant scope and complexity. Individual may be required to plan, organize and coordinate work of small medium staff of professionals and technicians and lead in the formulation of advance technical concepts in proposal development, preliminary project/program phases and presentations to client.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assuring accuracy of the work produced by the design team and contractors including plans, specifications and test procedures/reports.
  • Responsible for complete electrical design and calculations for assets including: facility electrical power, cathodic protection, emergency lighting, power distribution, conversion, control, and storage systems, lighting, battery uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and backup generators.
  • Responsible for complete electrical design and calculations for assets including: substations, switchgear, rectifiers, traction power distribution, utility power, protective relays and PLCs, grounding, transformers, and cables.
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation of design drawings, specifications and reports.
  • Assures compliance of designs with all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Analyze system failures and suggest appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist in the creation of engineering development test plans, factory acceptance test plans, and site commissioning tests and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related engineering degree.
  • 8+ years’ experience in railway engineering/systems
  • Experience in Traction Power is a MUST.
  • Supervision of work of outside contractors and consultants
  • Supervise, assign, review, and approve preparation of Electrical Engineering designs, drawings, and specifications; coordinate work with other divisions and departments.
  • Initiating and evaluating design and field engineering changes during construction.
  • Provide expert technical advice to management.
  • Mentoring and supervising lower level engineers within the division and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Lead project budget and schedule preparation activities.
  • Solid experience with rail systems including AC/DC traction power design and implementation is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with others.
  • Ability to learn and use commercial AC power system analysis software (load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, grounding grid design).
  • Knowledge of circuit analysis concepts and software such as SPICE, EMTP, and/or general purpose analysis software such a Mathcad.
  • Capacity to learn and use DC traction power system load flow analysis software, develop models, troubleshoot, perform simulations, prepare plots/tables of results, and write reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic skills using AutoCAD or Micro Station.
  • Capability to work independently and efficiently on assigned tasks and keep track of progress and budgets on those tasks.

The Electrical CAD Drafter is responsible for the electrical drafting needs for RBT Electric. Candidate will be responsible for the creation of technical illustrations which are used as visual aids for the creation of complex equipment and technical details such as procedures and dimensions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Electrical Engineers with creation and/or modifying electrical drawings.

OVERVIEW:

Functions as an Electrical Foreman for RBT Electric include; being in charge of monitoring installations and ensuring work is performed according to RBT Electric standards and project specifications. Work cooperatively with the general contractor and/or customer in managing the project, project schedule and employees. Responsible for maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials, and any other activities impacting a successful completion of the project.

  • Achieve RBT Electric productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining and accurate labor tracking log.

  • Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures
  • Fully utilize a prefabrication facility and companywide installation methods and policies

  • Experience working with multifamily projects is a MUST.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively order, track materials and perform cost projections.
  • Solid understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods.
  • Well versed in the installation of power systems; lighting, fire protection, security and data networks.
  • Comfortable utilizing Electrical Single Line blueprints
  • Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations.
  • Knowledgeable in the identification and repair of faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a construction safety officer your responsibility would be to ensure all the workers

are following safety procedures and working in a safe environment at the construction

site. Must be able to spend time on or around construction sites to ensure safety and

should be knowledgeable in all relevant safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe

environment for workers at the construction site.

DUTIES:

● Create and implement safety plans, and conduct daily environmental and safety

audits

● Conduct inspections on each construction site to analyze safety risks

● Educate workers on safety standards and train them on safe work practices.

to safety related issues on sites.
